Metro Area's "Miura" is RA track of the '00s

What a sensation, mates. "Miura" is Resident Advisor's track of the decade. Not that I am surprised as I would have chosen the same.

The fact that so many others love this track too, makes me very happy because this was the initial spark for my personal musical development during the 00's. Metro Area's "Miura" was released in 2001 as a part of the 4th EP in a series called "Metro Area" on their own label Environ Records. It was the peak of Metro Area's very own interpretation of disco music for the 21st century. In fact it represents "minimal" in its proper meaning.

Craig Smith is well known as one half of the incredible 6th borough project. Together with The Revenge they've already released their disco influenced tracks on labels like Delusions of Grandeur, Permanent Vacation and Instruments of Rapture to name only a few.
